Recipe│Oatmeal Bars


This is a very easy and forgiving recipe. There are many alternatives you can switch to fit your dietary needs. (中文)

Ingredients (Makes a 9*5-inch loaf pan):
1 1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup trail mix
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 to 1 1/2 cup berries (optional)
1/4 cup nut butter (optional)


Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F(180C)
2. In a mixing bowl, mix every ingredient evenly.
3. Line a 9*5 loaf pan with parchment paper. Spread oatmeal mixture evenly flat in the pan and bake for 20 minutes.
4. Once out of the oven, let it cool for 15 minutes before slicing.
 
Notes:
1. Substitute maple syrup to honey as preferred.
2. Substitute milk to any plant milk as preferred.
3. Use any trail mix, nut mix, dried fruit mix, or chocolate chips of your choice.
4. Add extra 1/2 to 1 cup fresh berries as preferred; break the berries slightly in step 2. Blueberries and raspberries work really well in my experience.
5. For more nuttiness and healthy fat, add 1/4 cup nut butter of your choice.
